My foremost specialties are .NET application development encompassing .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C# more generally, SQL, and deployment through Azure. Outside of that, I also have extensive experience with Java and Python, and moderate experience in C, C++, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Lua, and R. While my primary focus is backend development, I have fullstack experience as well that I am actively looking to expand. I also have extensive experience in the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, as well as in GIT, cmd, Powershell, the Google Suite, and just about every LLM tool there is.

Little Wars

A singleplayer autobattler created for GMTK 2020 jam. Procedurally generated levels allow for increased replayability. Find more details or try it yourself.

Peg Solitaire Solver

A final project for my Carleton AI course. Uses the A* algorithm combined with a swathe of custom-made heuristics to find a set of winning moves for the game Peg Solitaire. See the project here.

A Witching Place

Ongoing project to combine procedural voxel terrain generation in a Minecraft-esque manner with progression and automation based gameplay. Source code here.

.NET PnL App

Though I cannot share Armatus' proprietary details or images of this program, it is a bespoke .NET profit-and-loss tracking application with trading and asset-management capabilities. I was part of the small development team behind it from day zero. It is used to manage company assets to this day, as far as I know.

The basic combat screen. Pictured here is the first tutorial level. A Scriptable Object framework exists for both non-generated levels and Unit designs, so adding new Unit types or levels is easy.

An example of a procedurally generated level. Procedural level parameters include enemy type and number, unit availability in market, and number of available friendly slots. The generation system has several safeguards in place to ensure that despite scaling difficulty no generated level is impossible.

An example of ingame terrain editing in the same location for A Witching Place. Though this will not be a player ability in the final version, it's an important feature for use in other behind-the-scenes features such as structure generation.

All info about the structure is stored in a specialized Scriptable Object, which can either be created manually or generated via a script beforehand, including details about voxel placement, voxel type, and generation details for the structure.
